Graduated Penn State & Passed CPA Exam
Earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Accounting from Smeal College of Business.
2013
Left PwC to Join Boscia & Boscia, PC
Began full-time work with his family’s firm, founded in 1975, quickly developing a reputation for reliability and client care.
2018
Father/Founder Retired
Post-retirement, fully implemented SmartVault and began transitioning to modern tech

2024
Began Tech Transformation
Started implementing workflow tools, cloud systems, and automation platforms like SmartVault, Financial Cents, to reduce friction and increase profitability.

Invited to ADP Advisory Board
Recognized as a thought leader in modern accounting practices, especially in payroll and tech-integrated firm design.
2024
Launched TheBalancedCPA
After experiencing burnout and working long hours, Nick launched TheBalancedCPA to teach firm owners how to scale without sacrificing their health or time.

Joined Intuit Tax Council
Appointed to Intuit’s prestigious Tax Council to advise on future-forward tax innovations and firm support tools.
