Meet TheBalancedCPA
NICK BOSCIA
Nick Boscia isn’t your typical CPA. He’s a seasoned accounting professional who has spent over a decade mastering the numbers while redefining what it means to succeed in the industry.
As co-owner of Boscia & Boscia PC, a firm originally founded by his father, Joe Boscia Sr., Nick and his brother, Joe Jr., have worked tirelessly to modernize and expand their family’s legacy. Through innovative technology, streamlined workflows, and a commitment to balancing work and life, they’ve transformed the firm into a forward-thinking powerhouse.
Nick’s journey began at Penn State, where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accounting. After launching his career at PwC, one of the Big Four accounting firms, Nick earned his CPA license and gained valuable experience in the fast-paced corporate world. However, he soon realized that the traditional definition of success—long hours and constant hustle—wasn’t sustainable or fulfilling. This revelation brought him back to his family’s firm, where he and his brother proved that accounting could be both innovative and balanced. Along the way, Nick earned his Enrolled Agent (EA) license, expanding his expertise to help clients navigate complex tax matters.
Since 2018, Nick has served on ADP’s Accountant Advisory Board, providing industry insights to shape tools and solutions for accountants. In 2024, he joined Intuit’s Tax Council, where he will serve through 2027, contributing to advancements in tax technology and client service.
What truly sets Nick apart is his philosophy on balance. TheBalancedCPA isn’t just a brand—it’s a lifestyle. For Nick, balance means creating a thriving career while prioritizing personal growth, health, and meaningful relationships. Whether it’s waking up early to hit the gym, mentoring the next generation of accountants, or carving out time for travel and adventure, Nick embodies the principles he shares with others.
Through speaking engagements, webinars, and consulting, Nick helps accounting professionals learn how to work smarter, adopt technology to improve efficiency, and achieve work-life harmony without sacrificing ambition. His message is clear: balance isn’t accidental—it’s intentional, and it’s achievable for anyone willing to put in the effort.
Nick draws inspiration from the teachings of Tony Robbins, whose emphasis on personal fulfillment and intentional growth has guided Nick’s approach to building a life and career that blend ambition with balance.
When Nick isn’t working, you’ll find him exploring new destinations, spending quality time with loved ones, or planning his next adventure. His ultimate mission? To inspire others to build careers and lives that are not just successful but deeply fulfilling.
